Michalis is the founder and Managing Director of Michalis Avraam & Partners Ltd.
He holds a bachelors degree in Economics and is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), with over 25 years experience in the accounting and auditing profession in Cyprus and the UK.
Michalis is a licensed statutory auditor and a licensed insolvency consultant by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), specialising in the provision of business turnaround consultancy services, as well as receiver-manager-liquidator services. He is also a qualified mediator with substantial involvement in conflict management, business and financial dispute resolutions.
Michalis is a member of a number of professional associations including the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Association of Conflict Resolution (ACR) and has served on the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA).
Currently Michalis is the Chairman of the Insolvency Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).
Vasilis is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with over 15 years experience in the profession focusing on international tax planning and audit services. Additionally, he is a licensed statutory auditor and a licensed insolvency consultant by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).
Prior to joining Michalis Avraam & Partners Ltd in year 2008, Vasilis worked for six years in a big four audit firm where he reached the position of manager, and for two years in one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies at the position of Finance Director of the Cyprus entity.
Vasilis also holds a masters degree in finance, is a CFA Charterholder, and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), the CFA Institute (United States) and the CFA Society of Cyprus on which he serves on the Legal and Advocacy Affairs Committee.
Charalambos is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with over 15 years experience and exposure in the areas of audit and taxation services. Additionally, he is a licensed statutory auditor by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).
Throughout his career Charalambos was deeply involved in complicated tax matters, with a focus on capital statements and VAT affairs of local and international clients through which he gained substantial experience and expertise.

Michalis worked in a number of audit firms in Cyprus with frequent travels abroad during which he was involved in the Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) of a number of Ukranian agricultural and real estate entities and subsequently leading the audits of those entities that were listed in the main and alternative markets of the London Stock Exchange.
Michalis also holds a diploma in business administration and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) on which he serves on the Ethics and Constitutions Committee and the Small-Medium Size Offices Committee.
